The Altobridge patented technology, the Aeronautical & Maritime GatewayTM, enables cellular coverage anywhere on the globe at any time. The system does not rely on local network infrastructure, a critical element in emergency/disaster situation, it can be brought live in minutes. Altobridge supports numerous satellite bearers.
The Altobridge AM Gateway™ architecture is a unique ‘Split Technology’ enabling end to end management of the cellular phones and establishing a highly cost effective on-demand satellite connection, subject to end user interaction.
The equipment footprint is small and compact; the radio base station part is based on "nano BTS" technology. Installation and commissioning is simplified and can be carried out by radio technicians.
